Hello.  I am Reverend Dwight B. Micheal, Sr. I was born in Durham, North Carolina, to the late Mae Alice Micheal.  I am the eldest of my two sisters; LeAnne and Jeneane and my one brother, Clarence.

I attended Durham, N.C. public schools and graduated Magna Cum Laude from North Carolina Central University with a degree in Business Administration and later received a Masters of Business Administration degree at Marymount University in Arlington, Virginia.

On September 17, 1994, I accepted the call to preach the Gospel at Ebenezer Baptist Church, Occoquan, Virginia and on January 29, 1995, I preached my initial sermon entitled, “Are You a True Soldier in the Army of the Lord?”  On February 26, 1995, I was licensed to preach the Gospel, and was appointed as the Youth Minister of the Ebenezer Baptist Church in March 1995.  On June 12, 1999, I was ordained to the Gospel Ministry.

On November 5, 2008, I accepted the call of God to become the next Pastor of the Piney Branch Baptist Church, Spotsylvania, Virginia.  Under the spiritual mandate of Ephesians 4:11, I began the assignment to preach and teach the Gospel to Perfect God’s people, so that they may know their Purpose, thus allowing the body of Christ to Progress.

I am married to the former Sylvia Deborah Oakley and the father of Dwight Jr. and Darius TreVon; foster father to Dillard Antwan Anderson III, Jada and Maryah Thorpe.

My favorite scripture is Psalm 100 in its entirety.  I am a dedicated teacher, a bold preacher, a caring counselor, but above all else, a child of God.
